The consideration of the harmony of the Bible, contribute to our growing faith and compel us to acknowledge that it is the embodiment of divine revelation.

In the composition of the Bible, we saw where it was written. Rather than the materialization of the Bible, we seek to answer how it was composed. For example, the materialization of the Bible shows exactly what role man played in the process.

The Internalization of the Bible Helps Nurture a Growing Faith.
The compilation and materialization of the Bible furnished us with evidence that the Bible is the word of God. On the other hand, internalizing the Bible is to ignite the process by which the Bible’s transforming power is activated in the believer. Therefore, internalizing the Bible will take you from a struggling and doubtful faith to a growing faith. Even still, it will take you from a faith that identifies with a doubting Thomas. The internalization of the Bible will increase your level of faith to that of Daniel and the three Hebrew boys. In this section of our studies, we will examine the steps involved in internalizing the Bible.
The first step into internalizing the Bible (You Must Be Born Again).
A growing faith complies with Christ’s demands, “Must be born again,” are the words of Christ to Nicodemus. The new birth is not a suggestion but a requirement. Without being born again, one cannot see nor enter the kingdom of God.
- Because of Adam, the father of humanity, all die and receive a sin nature. Genesis 2:17; 3:6, 3:19. Romans 5:12.
- Therefore, sin and death entered the world through Adam. 1Corinthians 15:21; Romans 5:15,19. 1Corinthians 15:56
- On the contrary, salvation is a gift through faith. A faith that we must continue to grow in. Ephesians 2:5-8; Confessing with our mouth and believing in our hearts. Roman 10:9-10
- That is why Christ came to restore that which was lost through Adam: spiritual, eternal life. John 10:9-10, John 5:40; John 14:1-6; John 3:16
The Second Step into internalizing a growing faith in the Bible (You Must Live by Faith in God and His Word).
Living by faith requires trusting God for everything. A growingfaith relies wholeheartedly on His providence for all our wants and necessities in life. It’s resting in His sovereignty. It’s the comfort of knowing that, although I walk in the shadow of darkness, I don’t have to fear evil. We can rest in the certainty of knowing we are in the hands of an omniscient, omnipotent, all-seeing God.
- Dependence Day, the day I celebrate my deliverance from the power of sin over my life.
- I no longer walk according to the course of this world. Eph 2:1-3; 1Corinthians 6:9-11, 12:2
- God has lifted me out of the pit and placed my feet on solid ground. I now walk and live to a different drumbeat. I walk in dependence on God and His word. And through the power of His Spirit living in me. Galatians 2:20; Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalms 119:105 Psalms 6:23-25l; Psalms 40:2
